ADMISSION PROCEDURES

Graduate School: Filipino Applicants

STEP 1: APPLICATION

  1. Download  and Print 2 copies of the GTCC application form
  2. Fill out the required information and paste a recent colored 2 x2 ID picture with white background.

STEP 2: VALIDATION

    1. Secure interview slip from Admission Office by submitting the following requirements:
      • Printed application form
      • Photocopy of Transcript of Records (original must be presented)
    2. Proceed to the Graduate School Department for the pre-exam interview together with the following:
      • Interview slip
      • Printed application form
      • Photocopy of Transcript of Records (original copy must be presented)
  2. Return the accomplished interview slip to Admission Office
    • If the status of interview is passed, proceed to the next step.
    • If the status of interview is failed, the process ends here.
    • Payment slip will be issued to applicants who pass the interview.
  3. Pay the non-refundable Php500 exam fee and secure exam permit.
    • Pay exam fee at the Cashier
    • Exam permit is issued to the applicant at Admission Office  by presenting the official receipt.

STEP 3: EXAMINATION

  1. Take Qualifying Exam on the scheduled date, time and venue as printed on the permit. Bring the following requirements:
    • Qualifying Exam Permit
    • Valid ID
    • No. 2 sharpened pencil
  2. Results will be given thru email.

STEP 4: ENROLLMENT

  1. Proceed to Registrar for the enrollment.

  3. Enrollment date will be posted.
Graduate School: Foreign Applicants

STEP 1: APPLICATION

  1. Download and print the GTCC application form and recommendation form.
  2. Fill out the required information and paste recent colored 2 x 2 ID picture with white background.

STEP 2: VALIDATION

  1. Secure interview slip from Admission Office by submitting the following requirements:
    • Printed application form
    • Accomplished recommendation form in a sealed commercial envelope
    • Photocopy of the requirements below:
      1. Photocopy of Passport, ACR or I-Card
      2. Photocopy of Student Visa
      3. Photocopy of Transcript of Records or Certificate of Grades (Original copy must be presented)
  2. Proceed to the Dean/Associate Dean’s Office for the pre-exam interview together with the following:
    • Interview slip
    • Printed application form
    • Photocopy of Transcript of Records (Original copy must be presented)
  3. Return the accomplished interview slip to the Admission Office
    • If the status of interview is passed, proceed to the next step.
    • If the status of interview is failed, the process ends here.
    • Payment slip will be issued to applicants who pass the interview*.
  4. Pay the non-refundable $50 exam fee and secure an exam permit.
    • Pay exam fee at the Cashier
    • Exam permit is issued to the applicant at Admission Office by presenting the official receipt.

REMINDERS

Based upon CHED policy for graduate schools, the Seminary has two levels of admission: provisional acceptance and formal admission. Students are not formally admitted into the Seminary until they have completed eighteen units for M.Div. and M.A. programs and nine units for Graduate Diploma programs. Their GPA must be at least 2.0 and all other probationary stipulations must be completed. Provisional acceptance, however, is granted to prospective students who have the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrate sound doctrinal beliefs and a life of genuine Christian character befitting a person called of God to spiritual leadership and witness.
  • Possess an undergraduate degree. Students whose grade-point average is below 2.0 may be admitted on probation.
  • Have at least two years of church ministry experience.
  • Pass the Admission Test.
